The Auschwitz – Birkenau Memorial has become the world’s symbol of the Holocaust, terror, genocide, and the crimes of World War II. It was established by Germans in 1940, in the suburbs of Oswiecim (about 60 km from Krakow), a Polish city that was annexed to the Third Reich by the Nazis. In 1979 former concentration camp was entered on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
During the General tour you will have a chance to visit the permanent exhibitThe General Tour of the permanent exhibitions and buildings at the Auschwitz I-Main Camp and the most important original camp buildings in Auschwitz II-Birkenau: prisoner barracks, the unloading platform (ramp), and the ruins of gas chamber and crematoria II or III.
Daily Tour by bus.
Includes: standard visit to KL Auschwitz and Birkenau Camps, English speaking guide of the Museum, rental cost of headphones, transportation by coach.
Regular tours are operated in English.Other languages are possible on your request, please order in advance.This tour can be combined with tour to the Wieliczka Salt Mine, Wadowice Tour, Krakow Old Town, Kazimierz Old Jewish District.
